Patricia Stauble’s antique shop and home was built in 1784. There are three adjoining outbuildings and three rooms (some displayed in room settings). The antiques include folk art, nautical, furniture (1700s & 1800s), art, including carvings, pottery, quilts, rugs and small accessories.
Patricia Stauble has been in business for 50 years – 43 years in Wiscasset including Two at Wiscasset Antiques, Patricia & mother Doris Stauble, from 1972 to 1979. The late Shirley Chambers and Patricia did shows together and she was an associate of the shop. In 1999, the magazine Country Home did an eight-page spread with cover on Patricia and Doris Stauble. Doris Stauble was renowned for her one-of-a-kind arrangements with antique millinery fruits and flowers in antique containers, many of which Patricia still sells.
